How can I describe myself? I'm vivacious, brainy and earthy. I'm both spontaneous and serious, sensual and sexual. I enjoy a good laugh. I love the theater, film, and just wandering and exploring the city. I like running by the Hudson, biking and dance classes. I love cooking (by myself and with someone else)and getting together with friends. I have lots of energy but want to cuddle up and settle down (both metaphorically and literally) with someone sympatico.
My Ideal Person:
An intelligent, warm man who's learned a lot from the life he's led. Someone who's generous emotionally and physically. He smart but down-to-earth. Loves conversation and engaging about the world--and laughter. Someone who is sexual and sensual. He is someone who's mature enough to understand himself and yet who is young enough to take chances. A guy who has kids or knows his way around kids. Someone who can discuss what's going on, enjoys old movies or roots music and can explore a new country, paddle a canoe or go on a long bicycle ride. A guy who is looking for something real!
The last great book I read
Michael Chabon's the Yiddish Policeman's Union.
It's strange and funny. Though I wonder if there is
any depth there. Suggestion for my next read? Of course
the New Yorker and the Times.
