...but library science seemed boring, and instead I decided to make some money in New York. But I still love books--and life, and love, and New York and the approach of winter.
Things I love: NY, but especially Brooklyn. Lounging in my living room with friends and wine. Books. Blogs. Sleeping in. Guilty pleasures of all kinds. Cooking and trying new places to eat--from haute cuisine to holes in the wall (I'm actually fonder of the latter).
And when I can, getting out of New York and seeing the world. As of next month, I'll have made it to 6 continents (no plans to visit the 7th, though).
My Ideal Person:
Someone to strike sparks with--intellectually and physically. I've dated a lot in this city and loved it, but I'm more interested in finding a serious lover and partner in crime....a guy to have adventures with, keep me warm at night, cook brunch and read the Sunday paper with in the morning. A smart, sexy guy who's Type-A passionate about life and love, but not neurotic about the small stuff.
In return, you'll get a smart, funny, affectionate partner who loves her life, throws a great dinner party, and always gives as good as she gets.
Drop me a line...
The last great book I read There are so many, although I've really been enjoying Steig Larsson's novels. I read almost everything on an e-reader now, and I love the thing so much I would make out with it if I could.
My most humbling moment Junior high--all of it. I was a geeky late bloomer!
The best or worst lie I've ever told Yeah, not going to reveal that HERE.
If I could be anywhere right now somewhere warm, with white sand and a blue ocean. In the summer this changes to somewhere cool, with green trees and rolling hills.
Five items I can't live without 1. My passport. 2. My "urban tribe." 3. Love/sex/romance. 4. Food (of every possible variety) 5. Contentment.
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. talk, pillow talk
In my bedroom one will find... I think I'm supposed to write something like "a hedonistic wonderland" here, but if you must know, a bed, a dresser, some art, etc.
