Uh...ok, this makes me nervous but I'll do my best. I'm an easy going person who doesn't take myself or anything else too seriously (this doesn't mean I am a total goofball with no soul or that I can't be serious). I can find the humor in almost every situation (this may annoy you). I'm happiest when I'm traveling (even if it's just a part of the city I've never been to), cooking/eating good food (I'm a good cook and a good eater), listening to music or watching/mocking crap TV or made for TV movies (on a rainy/hungover day). I also apparently love parenthetical phrases.
Oh...and I love coffee but the idea of a first date being a coffee date makes me feel like I'm on a job interview, I'd rather go on a picnic (even if it's snowing).
Some things I don't like: talking on the phone or listening to voicemails, yogurt (I want to like it), misuse of "you're/your", people who are rude to cab drivers, waiters, bartenders, etc, the word "panties"
My Ideal Person:
Have a sense of adventure and humor? Sign me up. Overly serious, moody or pretentious? Pass.
The last great book I read I tend to have 3 or 4 books going at the same time. Most recently: "Surely you're joking, Mr. Feynman!" by Richard Feynman "The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao" by Junot Diaz "Downtown Owl" by Chuck Klosterman "Group Theory in the Bedroom, and Other Mathematical Diversions" by Brian Hayes
If I could be anywhere right now Somewhere I've never been.
Five items I can't live without bacon, chapstick, coffee, music, passport
In my bedroom one will find... soft sheets, sound machine, world atlas
