Most of my friends would say I have a very easy going personality. I am quite shy, but do open up in time. I am a native Brooklynite and am proud to say, I lived there before it was hip. Some of my favorite places to go to are restaurants, in varying faire from Italian to Japanese, to Middle Eastern. I am also a bit of a caffeine junkie. I am on a constant hunt for the perfect cup of coffee. I like the bar scene (if it's the right bar). The right bar criterion is as follows: awesome juke containing one, if not many of the following, Cat Power, Guided by Voices, Sleater Kinney, George Harrison, The Who, Bob Dylan. Must pour a great beer on tap, as well. Anything foreign is a plus. Guiness is golden! I enjoy going to the occasional (rock) show and I love Jewish humor. I like going to indie movies. I can parallel park like a pro. I like the smell of lavender and I love halvah.
My Ideal Person:
What I'm looking for in a person??? Who the hell knows anymore! It would definitely be a start though having some, if not more eccentricities than me. Oh yeah, and...if you actually know what halvah is, and like it as much as I do...a plus!
The last great book I read either "Run with the Hunted" or "Ham on Rye" for like the 100th or 200th time!
The celebrity I resemble the most I don't think I resemble any celebrity. But, I have heard Clea Duvall and Katharine McPhee (of American Idol fame).
The best or worst lie I've ever told I don't lie.
If I could be anywhere right now Someplace a bit warmer...not necessarily a hot locale, but definitely warmer. I really dislike the fact that it is starting to get cool out.
Five items I can't live without Coffee (especially first thing in the morning), comfy yoga-type pants, anything involving food (cooking, eating, eating while cooking, watching various cooking/food shows), sleep, extra long hot showers.
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. Brad Pitt is sexy; Steve Buscemi is sexier.
In my bedroom one will find... candles (most of them vanilla scented), a sound machine, bed on the floor with no frame, some photos, and an Asian inspired silk screen
