Me, the abridged version: I'm really into books, spending as much time outside as possible, and conversations ranging from playful to intellectual. I'd say I've experienced similar levels of contentedness watching the sunset after hiking Mt. Washington with my brother and trying the tasting menu at Blue Hill.
I'm versatile and easy-going. I enjoy chilling with a keg cup or a glass of high-end wine; I'm comfortable in lacrosse shorts or a cute cocktail dress. And I'd bring you a latte just because I know you like them.
I have a master's degree in writing, and I'm interested in checking out museums and traveling - anything from a local beach day trip to exploring Scandinavia, which I did recently. I love discovering new restaurants and types of food (though in my book, it doesn't get much better than a down-to-earth platter of pulled pork slathered with BBQ sauce and all the trimmings - and I'm a New Englander).
My friends say I'm easy to talk to, fun, witty, and a genuinely nice person. (Wow, thanks, friends - right back atcha.) I'm a good communicator and a great listener, always up for resolving issues with a dollop of humor. Being kind and nonjudgmental is part of my nature, and I'd like it if the same were true of you. Nothing wrong with being anti unnecessary drama and pro cozy bathrobes, right? I'm not interested in games or "play," although I want to find the kind of chemistry that makes us both feel like we're made of Jell-O... I'm dating in order to find the right person, the complete package, the real thing.
My Ideal Person:
A guy who is kind, smart, honest, dependable, and a deeply good person with a healthy sense of humor. Being genuinely nice counts most with me... An undying love of literature, trees, saltwater, mountains, the comedic stylings of Jim Gaffigan, and sushi with inordinate amounts of spicy mayonnaise on it would be pluses. But I am open-minded. I realize that mayonnaise can be controversial.
