Ok. I’m no shrinking violet. I'm really just a goof ball with a touch sarcasm mixed in. I am playful, affectionate and just plain silly…. I am driven, creative, and hardworking. I am occasionally mellow, but usually in motion. I am chatty and opinionated. I am nice, but not that nice… but not mean. I am looking for the "real deal". I am not on here to become a serial dater. I'm looking for a serious committed relationship. My family and my friends are my life!!!!! I see the glass as half full. I enjoy the great outdoors as well as the couch. I enjoy art, good food, live music, and a good (pee in your pants) laugh. Take me out for a beer, burger and basket ball and I’m smitten. I recycle and plant things. I don't liter and don't talk on my cell at the cash register. Were I to ride public transportation I’d gladly give up my seat to the lady with the baby or the man with the cane. I sing and dance in my car, as to not yell at the bad drivers. I talk to my father in Philly every day. My Mom died almost 9 years ago… I hope to be half the woman she was some day. I send thank you notes. I appreciate life, a good cup a coffee, and true friendship. I wish I could play more than my air guitar. I marvel at other people creativity and selfless acts of kindness. I'm from Philly, but I lived in NYC for 6.5 years and consider myself a born again New Yorker. Yup, city girl right here, but I am moved by nature I hugged a redwood tree and cried. I like to spend my free time outside, traveling, with friends, working out, people watching, eating at new places and dipping my toes in the art world whether that is music, movies or what not. I frequent First Friday, Create Fixate, Sunset Junction, movies at the cemetery and other arty outings. I am not a fan of meeting men at bars or clubs, but i do like to go out with my friends who are "real" people. Velvet robes don’t impress me. I work with celebrities often, So, I put that kind of madness away at the end of the day. I'm a bit of a super hero (think secret identity and all). I work as an event producer yet I am an actor... I like the stability of working 40 hours a week, yet getting to express my creative side. I can put on a gown and a killer pair of heels, or dress way down for a hike. I’ve traveled a bit: Amsterdam and India (for 3.5 months), and from the east coast to the west. In 2008 my job took me to Utah, Arizona, Oregon San Fran, and Vegas often. I see a trip to London in the near future or to visit friends in Paris. Thought I have the wisdom of a 39 year old I look much younger. Every picture is less than 3 months old. I am an onion with many layers… Care to peel???
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for chemistry and physical attraction (that's pretty standard.) I am certainly not looking for perfection (Are you perfect? Good for you. Alert the media)... I like a man who is emotionally solid, honest, smart, and socially aware, someone who takes pride in their appearance, has strong convictions and is open-minded. There is a difference between confidence and cocky (I prefer someone who knows the difference and isn’t the latter). Goofy moments are gems!!! What a gift to be able to laugh at yourself… and me too (sometimes) I’m all about the play, but not the PLAYER. Good friends and an active social life are a plus. Yes it’s great to spend time together, but go hang out with the guys once in awhile, ‘cause the girls and I have plans… better yet wouldn’t it be great if my friends became your friends and visa versa
Oh, to find that friend, with wit, a thirst for knowledge, passion, a sense of humor, creativity, affection, and a lust for life. All of the above, plus maturity with a hint of boyish charm… I am smitten.
Life is short… Take a chance. Let’s roam the city, or people watch at an outdoor cafe, catch a movie at the cemetery, view art at Create Fixate, Listen to tunes at First Friday or Sunset Junction, stuff ourselves at some yummy eatery. The possibilities are endless.
One more thing… Winking and or Hotlisting me is good…. EMAILS are BETTER!!!
The last great book I read Tweak: Growing Up On Methamphetamines. by Nic Sheff
My most humbling moment In 6th grade during recess I was running around the yard in a new pair of shoes with slippery soles. I slid about 4 feet mouth wide open and ran into one of the most popular girls at school (Robin). My mouth and front teeth collided with her head. There was blood and crying and everyone rushed to her side. People thought something on my jacket had cut her open. I didn't have the nerve to tell anyone besides my best friend that it had been my teeth. I teeth felt funny for days and the popular girls avoided me.
Favorite on-screen sex scene Sex in person trumps on-screen sex everytime!!!
The best or worst lie I've ever told A group of us lied to our friend Murphy. We planned an evening out together on December 6th. All the while planning her surprise party for that evening (her birthday is on Dec 31st). 60 of her closest friends lied to her and scared the crap out her when we yelled surprise that evening.... One of the best lies I have ever told.
If I could be anywhere right now Frolicking in NYC or London. I was in india over 10 years ago... I'd like to go back there again. Or to visit my friend who just moved to Paris.
Five items I can't live without Coffee, family, friends, books, music, gym ...that's 6.
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. A smirk is sexy. A BITE is sexier.
In my bedroom one will find... It's a cozy space... So no clutter. I'm there buried under some blankets at least 6 hours a night.
