It's the little things that make me really happy: spending time with friends, walking in the sun, going to the beach, having a chai latte. I'm a pretty laid-back person. I'm quite willing to take risks or try something new-- at least once. I laugh at everything and everyone, but especially at myself. I can remember the names of the most obscure supporting actors, and the smallest plot details of any novel I've read, but I'll probably forget your birthday. I like comic books, Cal Shakes, road trips, old movies at the Paramount, riding my pink bike, and getting teased. Do you?
My Ideal Person:
Someone who can be serious, but who doesn't take themselves too seriously. You should share a few of my interests, but be able to introduce me to new things, too. You are always ready to try new things and have a good sense of humor. I'm not shy and neither are you. You are social and outgoing, yet you can have a great weekend staying home. You might want to travel, or you already do travel. You know how to have a good time, but you aren't a hard-core partier. You have a job, or are in school, or something (read: you don't live in your parents' basement) You are okay with the fact that you haven't got your whole life planned out quite yet. You might not be sure what comes next, but that's half the fun!
The last great book I read "Special Topics in Calamity Physics" by Marisha Pessl. But for a pick-me-up, I always go back to "A Prayer for Owen Meany" by John Irving.
My most humbling moment Stalling my motorcycle at a stop sign because I was staring at a cute guy in a car. I ended up tipping it over, causing me to be pinned beneath it. It was super awesome when said cute guy had to pull the bike off me while trying valiantly not to laugh at me; he failed miserably. I no longer have a motorcycle, incidentally.
Favorite on-screen sex scene Dennis Quaid & Ellen Barkin in "The Big Easy". She's completely awkward, but he's skilled enough for the both of them so it's totally hot.
The best or worst lie I've ever told Of course I know where we're going.
If I could be anywhere right now I would be back-packing across Europe. I've never been, but it's on my list of to-do's for the near future.
Five items I can't live without Oscillating fan, vanilla chapstick, A-line skirts, my grandfather's U.S. Navy ring, & Ginger ale.
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. Reading is sexy; being read to in bed is sexier.
In my bedroom one will find... my living room-- and the rest of my cute, comfy studio apartment. Of course, there's a stack of books in easy reach of the bed, too.
