i'm a native los angeles gal. grew up on the westside. always smiling. very playful. try to look for the positive in things and people. try to not be judgmental...but open-minded to people and new things. i'm sort of a mixture between city/country girl. i love the culture of the city..and all it has to offer. but i also love the simple quiet life - living in a more earthy place. i'm committed to personal growth. i'm super affectionate. i love music - making it, hearing it, writing it, performing it. i'm big on honesty..and just putting it all out there. it's hard for me to relate fully to people when they keep things secretive and inside. i will always want to know what you *really* think. i'm very passionate and sensual. i cherish my friendships. love going to folk festivals and sitting around bonfires under the stars with great people. i love kids/teenagers...and developing close friendships with them.
other things i love: meditation, retreats with friends, candlelit yoga, hawaii, colorado, walking along the shore, dance of all kinds (dork dancing rules!), ritual, singing harmonies on festival stages, kirtan, backpacking to a remote place and sinking in, pema chodron, integrity, community, vulnerability, topanga canyon, goofiness of any kind! speaking personal truths, coconuts, mangos, making up silly games like "energy karate" and "who can be the bigger dork"  , delicious summer nights under the warm texas moon, a new dress with a flower behind my ear, santa monica farmers market, dinner parties, juicy long talks, game nights, getting to the beach as often as possible, messing around with dogs , travel (especially to tropical places), decorating, snuggeling, roadtrips, goofing off, and lounging around enjoying the moment at home.

someone who is emotionally healthy and stable. someone who is affectionate....passionate...and sensual. someone who enjoys spending time out in nature. someone who is committed to personal growth. someone who is family oriented and looks forward to having kids. someone who enjoys being super playful and who can be a total goofball with me. someone who looks for the positive in people and situations -- who is open minded and non-judgemental and compassionate. someone who has some sort of spiritual practice ...whether that be meditation, yoga or regularly spending time outdoors. someone who enjoys building community. someone who is comfortable speaking their truths. someone who smiles a lot
The last great book I read
Haven't finished a book in a while (yeah..grad school
will do that to you!). But I'm always flipping through
something from the Buddhist nun Pema Chodron and the controversial
relationship/sexuality author David Deida :-)
My most humbling moment
Having to walk off the stage during a packed show (where
i was singing in a duo) because of my dinner disagreeing
with me :-) Yeah...good times!
