I’m sociable, a bit sassy, and sometimes funny and smart. I have eclectic interests and tastes. I hold strong opinions and love debating social, economic, and political matters. However, I’m very tolerant and love to listen.
I enjoy all the culture the City offers (museums, art shows, etc...). Yet I also find low culture fascinating (yeah, that means some stupid tv and movies--it keeps me balanced and connected to the rest of the world). People fascinate and scare me. I rather have a conversation with a clever old man than an over educated snob--love my world to be as real as possible.
My Ideal Person:
Possess a sense of humor (capable of making fun of self); smart; down to earth; and respectful of other people's culture, believes, and religions. You are mature, but haven't loss your sense of adventure. Also, must find my sense of humor and accent charming
The last great book I read "Bury me Standing: The Gypsies and Their Journey" by Isabel Fonseca, "Outliers" by Malcolm Gladwell, and "The war of the End of the World by Mario Vargas-Llosa. Currently reading Toni Morrison's "A Mercy" and Ted Kennedy's bio.
If I could be anywhere right now I would be island hopping somewhere in the pacific.
Five items I can't live without my computer, radio/i-pod, books, comfy bed, and travel stub.
