Fun, funny (not just funny in my own mind kinda funny) and sweet are usually the way friends would describe me and I would have to agree with them! I live in Brooklyn, work in Manhattan and divide my time equally in both places.. My likes and dislikes are pretty basic. I'd love to just meet someone who wasn't pretentious and when they say "down to earth or easy going" ... they actually are. I enjoy meeting up at lounges/pubs, dining out, movies, museums, parks (especially dog parks where my dog Charlie is every night, brunch..do this every Sunday. I have lots of hobbies - photography, sewing, knitting...cooking..d.j.'ing..actual ly working a few parties/openings during fashion week..should be fun...as for laundry lists..It's kind of short and basic and seems to be what everyone would like when meeting someone..just be honest, open and employed so that at the end of the day we at least have something to talk about. I know the employed remark sounds harsh in lieu of all the recent layoffs, however, doesn't matter what you do...long as you're occupying your time with something and not be the perpetual student.. ...Guess that would cover the "be passionate about something category". Certainly nothing wrong with being overly educated as long as it's not counting as your career ...
My Ideal Person:
Fun loving, independent, easy going, easy listener. I consider myself to be all of the above, so to meet a like minded individual would be pretty cool!! We don't have to like the same music, read the same books, movies etc., just something that sets us apart makes for an interesting meeting the too serious need not apply. Someone into music, going out dancing occasionally.. out to eat, (I also enjoy cooking) go for drinks, lots of great parks/museums here in Brooklyn or maybe you can show me some new places. Must be a dog lover or at least tolerant ..because if you don't like Charlie..you're out..sorry..no room for negotiation..and if you're allergic..get over it already..plenty of people live with allergies..pop a claritin D ..I realize how many opportunities I miss when I read a profile and the guy sheepishly writes "sorry I have allergies"..pathetic lame excuse...
As to what I'm not looking for..and this is sad to write because this seems to be what I'm attracting lately..the married, attached, re-bounders..the unemployed(still trying to find their niche in life types) the older than my father (nothing wrong with older men..just not my preference) or the prefer not to say types..I believe if you prefer not to say..that's already an admission..if this is you..then keep it moving..

Chapstick..very addictive..I stash them everywhere
(bag, pockets, work, even your pockets if you're not
looking etc.)Ultra slim flocked hangers..amazing..
those hangers have tripled my closet space..DVR IPhone..a
cast iron frying pan too heavy to even lift.. some nights
it's used for dinner some nights doubles as my workout..those
pans weigh a ton..
