I'm a smart, witty, fun-loving, passionate but easygoing, mainstream-challenged, very creative, sometimes cynical, eternal optimist. I’m an independent filmmaker who has shown my short films in festivals and theatres around the country, and I own my own graphic design business (starting to expand into multimedia). I see alot of film, everything from foreign to film noir to quirky experimental, love museums and art galleries, musical tastes range from tango to Yo La Tengo, read everything from critical theory to the Onion, enjoy fancy restaurants to home-cooked meals, and travel from weekend road trips to Europe.
My Ideal Person:
My ideal man is a brainy, attractive, fit, unconventional (involved in the arts, even as a hobby) but high-functioning type who’s motivated (but not a workaholic), progressive, wickedly funny, adventurous, outgoing and thoughtful (in both senses of the word). Someone who knows and likes the person he is, who's willing to explore all kinds of things, who shares some of the interests I've listed above, is literate, and likes to talk about–and perhaps participate in–the arts.
The last great book I read Crying by Tom Lutz Close Range by Annie Proulx
My most humbling moment How about right now?
Favorite on-screen sex scene Bibi Andersson describing a past sexual experience to Liv Ullmann in Persona. Dennis Quaid caressing Ellen Barkin (down there) in The Big Easy.
The best or worst lie I've ever told I don't lie! Ever! Really!
If I could be anywhere right now Time-traveling.
Five items I can't live without Food, sleep, air, laughter, art.
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. Naked is sexy; Imagination is sexier!
