I have a good sense of humor and try to find the humorous side of most people and events. I am also a thoughtful person and enjoy spending time reading about, watching, and pondering life's big and little events. I am dedicated to work I love and feel thankful for that. I have eclectic extracurricular interests, ranging from movie watching and ping pong playing to dancing and yoga. I have been told by friends/family that I am funny, smart, sexy, kind, patient and loving. What others of longstanding relationship see in us is often the truth, yes?
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for someone who loves to laugh, from highbrow to low. For someone who loves to explore, out in the world and within. For someone who enjoys contemplating politics, history, music, art, literature, and human behavior. For someone who understands and appreciates the complexity of relationships and is patient with its twists and turns. Do you dance? Always a plus, but someone with a sense of rhythm is enough, of course
The last great book I read 3 Cups of Tea. Currently enjoyng Junot Diaz' Pulitzer winner, Brief, Wondrous LIfe of Oscar Wao.
My most humbling moment Watching African American kids in my class tear up when listening to Barack Obama's victory speech.
Favorite on-screen sex scene Really prefer scripts heavy on foreplay...much more interesting to watch...
The celebrity I resemble the most Some say Elizabeth Shue. I say, 'Who cares? Resemble yourself.'
The best or worst lie I've ever told Just tend to not lie much...alas...
If I could be anywhere right now Anywhere with time to contemplate, look, feel, breathe....
Five items I can't live without Those who know me best. A groovy backbeat. A good narrative portrayed by great actors. Time to sit, watch, think, wonder. And, as a fulltime classroom teacher, SLEEP!
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. Fast is sexy; slow is sexier.
In my bedroom one will find... A cross breeze and a view of strange pods growing from a beautiful tree in my new backyard. Plus, current book: Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, New Yorkers in various read states, a journal, and a boombox with Sufjan spinning now.
