I am NOT mysterious and exotic. I’m reliable, loyal, genuine, and honest. Becoming a youth counselor was an easy career choice for me because I am a nuturing, attentive, and intelligent woman. In relationships, I am often playful and affectionate. I've got a voracious curiosity but still appreciate the simple things. When I’m driving alone, I sing in my car. I love music and am passionately dorky about bands and songs I wish everyone knew. I collect CDs. I enjoy dabbling in various crafts. I ramble.

This is what sounds good to me: You are compassionate and overall, you care about people. You’ve experienced quite a bit of life and love to learn, but are still humbled by all that you do not know. While your wit and intelligence impress me, it's your emotional intelligence that I respect you for. You have ambition but the balance of your bank account doesn’t measure your success. You enjoy being outdoors on beautiful days. You love my dog. You love good music. You love me.
Ideally, you can play an instrument or two- but I’ll forgive you if you can’t. Despite my efforts, I can’t either.

My most humbling moment
When I was volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, I met
a homeowner at a house so her kids could see their home for
the first time. I got to know the children in the family while
the house was being built. They were so excited and happy!
The youngest two were excited about their backyard- then,
nothing more than a bunch of dirt. The oldest ran, dragging
me, from room to room asking me to help him pick which would
be his very own bedroom.
